Kathmandu, December 5, 2018: Eleven students of Lalitpur district have been awarded with Gyan-Uday scholarship by CG Foods (Nepal). The Senior General Manager of GD Foods, Mahesh Raj Panta presided the ceremony where he addressed the need of education as well as the kind of education that is relevant for the changing times.
With its slogan “Educated Nepali, Prosperous Nepal”, CG Foods felicitated the scholarships to eleven students who resides in the area around the location of the wai-wai factory and the children of permanent employees at the factory located in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
The scholarships were granted to the four students excelling in the fifth grade and five students with the best results in the SEE exams held in BS 2074, from wards 18 and 25. Similarly, from among the children of permanent employees at the factory, one student each from grade five and SEE level were awarded scholarship based on merit.
