May 12, 2015: High damages has been triggered to 138 schools in Panchthar district by the April 25 destructive earthquake.
The quake has completely damaged eight classrooms of four schools, Thokpen Primary School, Sidin, Suryadaya Primary School, Falaincha, Singhakalika Primary School, Siwa and Mahakavi Devkota Primary School in Fidim municipality-7 said Yugmani Sabehang, Section Officer at District Education Office.
District Education Office said that larger damages have seen in 92 classrooms of 39 schools whereas 235 classrooms of 126 schools are partially damaged.
