International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh is an annual film festival held countrywide, which showcases full-length features, shorts, experimental films made for and by children from around the world. It is one of the biggest film festivals in Bangladesh started in 2008, and also the only international film festival for children and young adults of the country.This year, from January 25 – 31, the festival aims to screen nearly 300 films created by renown and aspiring directors from all over the world.

Submissions are now open for the 13th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh 2020.

Eligibilities: There are no country barriers for submission except Israel and Taiwan.

    – Duration: Less than 20 minutes
  • Child Filmmakers’ Section (International)
    – Filmmaker’s Age: Up to 18 years old
    – Duration: Less than 20 minutes
  • Young Bangladeshi Filmmakers’ Section (Bangladesh only)
    – Filmmaker’s Age: 19-25 years
    – Duration: Less than 25 minutes
  • Special Film Section (Bangladesh only)
    – Filmmaker’s Age: Up to 25 years
    – Duration: Less than 20 minutes
    – Subject: Bangabandhu Through My Lens
  • International Film Competition (Any country)
    – Filmmaker’s Age: No limit
    – Subject: Any film made for children.
    – Duration: No limit
  • Non-competitive Section (Any country)
    – Any filmmaker is eligible to submit their film in the non-competitive section only for festival official screening.
    – Filmmaker’s Age: No limit
    – Subject: Any film made for or related to children.
    – Duration: No limit

Eligible Regions: Open for all except Israel and Taiwan.
