18 Ropani Land Donated For Quake Sufferers


May 18, 2015: 18 ropani of land will be freely provided to the people rendered homeless after the earthquake by the Puwamai Tea Estate of Ilam municipality.

Estate Chairman Dharma Prasad Uprety said that the decision was taken by the management committee meeting of the Tea Estate that it would provide the land in the municipality, so that the earthquake victims would get space for resettlement, on Sunday. Similarly, it has deposited Rs 10,000 to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund as a relief to the quake victims across the country.

Likewise, worth Rs 50,420 has been collected as donation by the Ilam Chapter of Nepal Red Cross Society to help the quake survivors.chapter chairman Ratan Chaudhari said that the amount would be sent to the Central Office.
