Damauli, February 20, 2019: For the purpose of establishing a school, Lions club International donated 2 crores 70 lakhs to Amar Jyoti Secondary School of Tanahu municipality-12.
Lion Club that has been helping disabled people now has moved forward to reestablish the schools that were destroyed during the earthquake.
“Where ever there is the lack of social factors Lions Club is always ready to fill the gaps”, said Ashok Kumar Shrestha, district governor of Lions Club of Nepal. He further added that they will be helping other schools in the same sector as well.
According to Rohit Bhandari, Member of School management department said that soon after requesting lions club, they easily accepted the request and helped for the establishment of the school.
The construction of the building will be finished within Kartik of 2076 including 2 stories with 8 rooms.
Likewise, lino club is currently active in other social activities and further planning to help in building earthquake-damaged schools in other sectors.
