21 children rescued from India

Rautahat, Oct 17:  The District Police Office Rautahat has rescued twenty one children aged between 10 to 16 from Muzaffarpur in India.

The children, mostly illiterate, have been rescued from a Children’s Shelter in Muzaffarpur where they had been residing since 21 days. Rescued with the help of some social organizations, they were brought to Gaur today.

The police are preparing to handover the children hailing from various VDCs in the district to their rightful guardians, according to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bhim Prasad Dhakal.
