Myagdi, 25th January, 2015 :Â Different 22 hydropower projects have forwarded the process for producing a total of 621 MW power in the district.
Some of the power projects have asked for permission to complete the survey works in Kaligandaki, Myagdi, Rahughat, Mistri, Nilgiri, Mudi, and other rivers while survey of some projects have completed.
Trade Link Global Private Limited has sought permission for the Upper Kali Gandaki (72 MW), Tundi Power Company Limited carrying out survey and asked permission for the Upper Rahughat (48.5 MW) and Nilgiri Hydropower Project carrying out survey and asked permission for Nilgiri Hydropower (38 MW), while some other companies have been carrying out survey in the local rivers, according to the Power Development Department.
