3rd National Conference On Natural Science And Technology at AUW on April

Kathmandu, March 7, 2016: Asian University for Women (AUW) is organizing its 3rdNational Conference on Natural Sciences and Technology to be held at AUW Campus on 15-16 April 2016, with the objective to update attendees on the latest research advances in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

AUW is the first liberal arts university for women in South Asia, hosting talented young women from 16 different countries. Along with its intercultural diversity, AUW offers an intellectual and multi-disciplinary environment to develop skilled and service-oriented future leaders.

National Conference on Natural Science and Technology is organized by Maths and Science program at AUW, with the objective of bringing latest research advances in natural sciences, technology and scientific research in front of the scientific community. Professor Dr. AKM Moniruzzaman Mollah, co-chair of NCNST’16 says about the conference, “ It provides aspiring scientists the platform to present their research findings and promote innovative technologies”.

“We also expect to implant a positive overview regarding the future of science and technology in Bangladesh on the minds of the participants (national & international) considered as potential researchers, scholars, and scientists from various institutions in Bangladesh and abroad”, says Professor Dr. Harunur Rashid, Co-Chair, NCNST’16.

Selected oral and poster presentations of this conference will be published as an edited special issue in the international peer-reviewed journal International Journal of Environment that will be edited jointly by organizers and some of the invited speakers.

The organizing committee of NCNST’16 eagerly invites the scientific community engaged in any discipline of Natural Science and Technology to attend the 3rd NCNST in Bangladesh. Together with faculty and senior scientists, this conference also encourages submission of research findings by students from undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels.
