40% PROGRESS ON DRINKING WATER PROJECT

Palpa, Sept 16: Palpa have completed around forty percent construction works of the Rampur Small Urban Drinking Water Project.

The project funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is expected to benefit 3,120 households inside the Rampur Municipality.

The project implementing body, the District Drinking Water Division Office Palpa,has the target of finishing the construction works within coming January, according to Office Chief Hari Prasad Timilsina. There is a new report that the ADB has funded Rs 243 million to construct the project.

Project consumers’ committee chairman Kamal Bhattarai said- “Locals of Rampur Municipality wards no 6, 7 and 8 will get portable water in an easy and convenient way once the project gets terminated.”
