Kathmandu, April 10, 2018: The Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) 47th General Convention of the central assembly is about to start from Wednesday in Biratnagar.
The general convention would review the annual progress of the last fiscal year and also scheduled to prepare the estimated budget for the fiscal year 2075/076.
Dibya Raj Poudel, Chief of the communications department of NRCS stated that intensive discussions would be held on earthquake recovery programmes, disaster and crisis management, health and community empowerment, organization and capacity development, humanitarian principles and diplomatic activities.
According to the statement by the NRCS, presidents of all 77 district committees, districts representatives, members of the central working committee, appointed councillors, representatives of junior Red Cross, youth red cross, teacher sponsor, government institutions, ICRC and others would attend the event.
