4th Nepal Higher Education Fair 2018 Set to Kick Off

Kathmandu, August 16, 2018: The fourth edition of ‘Nepal Higher Education Fair 2018’ is all set to kick off in the Capital on August 17.

Happening at Hotel Annapurna, Durbarmarg, the fair aims to provide information to the students who want to pursue higher education in Nepal. With the slogan ‘Uchcha Sikchhya Sabai Ko Ichha’, the fair will run for 2 days. The press release issued by Education.com stated that the students will get consultations from educational institutions that have been providing quality education in Nepal. “The trend of Nepali students going abroad for higher education is increasing. In this context, it is necessary to take this message amidst students that there are quality educational institutions available in Nepal to pursue higher education. And, the fair will enlighten the students with the market scope, industry trends and the educational standards being offered in Nepal”, mentioned in the press statement. “The students looking forward to pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s level such as BBA, MBA, BIT, BIM, BHM, BHCM, BBM, BHTM, BASW, BBS, BSc CSIT, BDevs, BCIS, MScIT et cetera–will benefit from this fair”, the press release added. To facilitate students with the necessary counseling, the fair will proceed with the participation of more than 40 leading colleges affiliated to Tribhuvan University(TU), Kathmandu University(KU), Pokhara Univerisity,  Purwanchal University, MadhyaPaschimanchal University (MU) along with some international universities. Some colleges participating at the event include Shanker Dev Campus affiliated to TU, and Nepal Mountain Academy (run under Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation).

Vision Media Incorporation and Education.com are the main organizers of the fair whilst Islington College is the main sponsor. The organizers have expected the participation of around 8000 graduates of Class XII. Attractions like games and lucky draws are featured in the fair. Lucky one can win tickets for movies, Kathmandu Fun Valley, mobile phones, laptop, and scooter.
