Kathmandu, May 15: Today early morning at 7.27 am a tremor measuring 5.5 on Richter scale with its epicenter in Dhading shook the country, said the National Seismological Centre.
Center’s Chief Lok Bijaya Adhikari said that the Vibration was felt more as the aftershock hit the area nearby the capital city, Kathmandu.
Earlier, on Thursday magnitude-5.0 aftershock hit the country in the area of Kavrepalanchowk. As per the source, today’s shock is so far the powerful one following the May 12 quake measuring 6.8 on Richter scale with epicenter in Dolakha.
