Do you want to win a telescope? Participate in ‘Space Art Competition’ organized to celebrate National Science Day

Kathmandu, September 17, 2017: Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO) is organizing Space Art Competition to mark 5th Science Day and World Space Week 2017 in Nepal.

The competition is an opportunity for students to share their passion for space and arts and win a telescope.

Students studying upto class 8 can participate in the competition, informed Suresh Bhattarai, President of NASO.

The winner of the competition will be awarded a telescope, whereas the toppers will be handed over with attractive prizes.

Rules:
  • The competition is open to all the students currently studying at basic school level (upto class 8)
  • Must be your own creation
  • Size of the poster should be A3 (29.7cm x 42cm)
  • Scan copy of the work should be send with a subject line: NASO Space Art Competition 2017 to info.naso@gmail.com
  • Only shortlisted works will be requested to be sent to Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO), P.O. Box 21229, Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Name, class, gender and name of the school should be mentioned in the top of poster
  • One submission per registration
  • Entry fee: Rs. 200
  • Submission without registration payment will not be considered for the evaluation

Submission Deadline: October 10, 2017 (Ashoj 24, 2074 BS)
