Kathmandu, March 23, 2018: With an aim to spread awareness and education about non-communicable diseases, Samartha Nepal is all set to organize the first edition of ‘Impact Hike’ on March 31, 2018.
As many as forty participants are expected to participate in the hike. The main motive of the event is to raise crowd sourcing funds for supporting the awareness campaigns for different non-communicable diseases like Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, Health education and Screening Workshop, Cervical Cancer Awareness and Screening and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Awareness and Diagnosis.
Impact Hike is an event designed to support campaigns on awareness and education about non-communicable diseases, and raise funds for providing disease related information and screening facilities along with specialist consultation to the people.
The event aims to raise funds for at least 300 people which will be held at different municipalities. According to the organizers they have targeted to raise a minimum of NRs. 450,000 through the first hiking event.
Samartha Nepal is a profit not-sharing company registered under the Office of Company Registrar and affiliated to the Social Welfare Council (SWC), Nepal which works towards ensuring equitable health and education.
