Province 4 presents partial budget worth Rs 1.25 billion

Kathmandu, May 3, 2018: The partial budget of Rs 1.25 billion has allocated for Province 4 for the remaining two and a half months till current fiscal year ends in July 15, 2018. State Minister for Finance, Kiran Gurung presented the budget presented to the provincial assembly in Pokhara, on Wednesday.

The budget was prepared with the grant provided by the central government and presented to the provincial assembly on Wednesday.

The partial budget comes with an emphasis on management of provincial structure and investment friendly environment, poverty alleviation and development of tourism, energy, agriculture and industrial sector.

The state government is planning to develop 300 villages as of the province as tourist destinations and conducting feasibility study of operating rafting in the rivers as stated in the budget.

Minister Gurung said that the partial budget provided a glimpse of full fiscal year budget for the upcoming fiscal year, talking to the media personnel after the announcement.
