9 Killed in Syria’s Aleppo Due To Airstrike

Damascus, April 13, 2015: Syrian airstrike on a rebel-held area in Syria’s northern city of Aleppo killed at least 9 people. Out of 9, 5 were children who were killed on Sunday.

According to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, ”The airstrike targeted the Jamil al-Qabani school in the Ansari neighborhood in Aleppo.” It also said that the number of deaths could rise due to the large number of critically wounded people.

The airstrikes on government controlled areas in Aleppo killed at least 17 people and all of the building blocks were damaged in the Sulaimanyieh neighborhood, as reported by the state news agency SANA.

Aleppo is divided between the government-controlled areas in the West and the rebel-held ones in the East. So, both sides often collide with each other on daily basis.
