A Roadside Bomb Kills 12 People in Afghanistan


Ghazni, April 11, 2015: A roadside bomb smacked a vehicle in Ghazni province that killed 12 civilians aboard on Friday.

Deputy to provincial police chief, Mohammed Ali Ahmadi addressed, “A mine planted by militants struck a civilian vehicle in Dehmullah village of Khogiani district at around 10:00 a.m. local time today, leaving 12 people aboard dead.”

Among the victims, 6 were women and children according to the statement of the official. He also added that the spot where the blast occurred was controlled by Taliban militants. However, Taliban militants have not yet commented anything on the blast.
