Kathmandu: Nepal has received “Country of the Year Award 2019″ for being the best nation in Asia for its mountaineering adventures. The Award was presented at the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2019 organized by the Research House of Asia (RHA) Media in Malaysia.
According to a press release issued by the Embassy of Nepal that the rank was confirmed by carrying out various research surveys on five shortlisted Asian countries for the ” Asia Best Nation for Mountaineering Adventures” category.
Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, YB Tuan Muhammad Bakhtar bin Wan Chik, presented the Award to Nepalese ambassador to Malaysia, Uday Raj Pandey, amidst a special ceremony at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Honorable ministers, members of the royal family, CEOs of reputed companies, business owners, among others were present at the occasion.
