Aftershock Was Recorded This Morning

Kathmandu, June 6, 2015: With Tibet and Sindupalchowk as the epicenter an aftershock measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale was recorded at 2:33 a.m, as per the National Seismological Centre.

According to the Chief at the centre Lok Bijay Adhikari, four aftershocks measuring above 6 Richter scale and some 20,000 large and small-scale aftershocks were already recorded after the ‘Gorkha Earthquake’.

Following the massive 7.6 Richter scale earthquake on April 25, the country is being jolted by a series of aftershocks.
