Pyuthan, Aug. 7: Agricultural and forest-based industries have been increasing in Pyuthan district in recent years. Some 143 industries were registered in the last fiscal year 2070-71 BS which is double of the previous year.Some 16 agro and forest-based industries were registered in the year and up to Rs. 10 million has been invested in a single agricultural industry in Dakhakwadi in cow farming, said Head Assistant Lok Bahadur Basnet.
Such agriculture and forest based industries are registered with the increase of commercial agriculture and livestock farming, and attraction has increased in recent days as government emphasizes agriculture and livestock farming, said Cottage and Small Industries Development Officer Ram Bahadur Rana.
