Kathmandu, Sept 18: An independent lawmaker Meghraj Nepali (Misad), who is undergoing dialysis, has signed the new constitution at the Constituent Assembly building.
Nepali reached the CA building not to miss the historic opportunity of signing the constitution passed by the CA on Sept 16, despite suffering from kidney ailment. He underwent kidney transplantation sometimes ago and is under treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
CA Chairman Subas Nembang inquired about Nepali’s health condition.
Lawmakers are signing five copies of the new constitution till 3:00 pm today. The Constitution of Nepal-2072 would be promulgated on Sept 20 at a special programme.
