June 23, 2015: All gunmen who attacked in Afghanistan parliament in Kabul is killed according to interior ministry. Attackers explode a car bomb outside the gate of parliament.
According to Taliban they attacked to coincide with a vote to endorse a new defense minister. Sediq Seddiqi, the spokesman for the interior ministry said the gunmen had attempted to storm the parliament building itself after the gates were breached by the suicide bomb.
The attackers fought off and entered a building which was under construction. The broken glasses and the chamber filled with smoke fell into MPs as the fight continued. It took one hour to stop the firing.
Mr Seddiqi said no MPS were injured and 18 people are wounded.
