Gaushala, Feb 15,2015: Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Loktantrik), Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, has said there was no alternative to forging consensus for delivering all-encompassing constitution to the people.
At a programme organized at Jaleshwor of Mahottari district to welcome new entrants to his party on Saturday evening, Chairman Gachchhadar said the consensus could be built based on the 12-point understanding, five-point agreement and the Interim Constitution.
According to him, the national consensus was essential to ensure the rights to the Madhesi, indigenous people, women, Muslims, backward and the marginalized communities.
Chairman Gachchhadar argued that if the ruling parties internalized the 12-point understanding, 5-point understanding and the Interim Constitution, the country would get the constitution soon, thereby paving a way for socio-economic developments.
On the occasion, he welcomed 65 entrants in the party.
