Another Earthquake of 4.9 Magnitude Occurs Early Morning

Kathmandu, April 28, 2015: Series of aftershocks are continuous since the massive earthquake of April 25.

An aftershock of 4.9 magnitude occurred having epicenter somewhere in Rasuwa, a district in the north of the capital city, this morning.

The National Seismiological Centre informed that the quake occurred at 5:5am.

With this, 98 aftershocks have been recorded since the massive quake of April 25, said Lok Bijay Adhikari, Chief of the Centre.

He added that five tremors were felt during this morning, while 13 felt in the last 24 hours.
