Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ Turning Out To Be A Rs 100 Cr Mess?

29 January,2015: Anurag Kashyap’s soon-to-release movie ‘Bombay Velvet‘ has been running under troubled waters since long now. First it was delayed due to reasons best known to the makers of the movie. Then it was the confusion over Raveena Tandon’s role in the movie.

The latest is the director of the movie, Anurag Kashyap is now losing sleep over the post production work of the movie. According to a report published in Mid-day.com, “When the producers realised that the film’s duration is over four hours even after editing was done, they decided to get the scenes chopped off further. As of now, it looks like the songs featuring Anushka and Raveena will not see the light of the day.”

“They are also hiring various people to complete the editing work. A lot of money is at stake,” adds the source.

However, the makers of ‘Bombay Velvet’ have denied the whole story. Anurag Kashyap, the co producer of the movie along with Fox replied, “Vikas Bahl shot a promotional song which is not in the film.. Production house is my production house, they don’t take decisions independent of me. Don’t become easy prey to rumour mongers…”

Fox Star Studios has also denied of any such development, as one of the spokespersons was quoted saying, “All these are nothing but baseless rumours.”
