Kathmandu, August 10, 2018: Neiman Foundation opens the application for Knight Visiting Nieman Fellowship 2019 that will happen at Harvard. It is a short-term research opportunity for the international students who have a special project to advance journalism field.
Knight Visiting Nieman Fellowship aims to improve the journalism future. The applicants need not need to be practicing the journalism but have a project that creates an impact in the journalism world. Fellowship will provide the extensive resources like the local scholar, research centers, and libraries of Harvard and MIT for fellows to utilize for their projects. At least five individuals will be selected to spend up to 12 weeks at Harvard to work on special projects designed to advance journalism. Fellows will be sharing their progress and findings by publishing Neiman’s in-house website, Nieman Report, Nieman Journalism Lab, Neiman Storyboard. Harvard will continue the fellowship until the concrete results even after the tenure of the duration of the fellowship.
