Applications are open for UN-HABITAT 2018 International Urban Design Student Competition for students with creative and innovative design ideas. The designers are expected to propose creative and innovative solutions for a vacant waterfront site in inner-city Wuhan.
The competition is part of the UN-Habitat- WLS programme “People Oriented Urban Public Spaces” and covers various themes like improving and innovating urban public spaces, revitalization of waterfront spaces, revalorizing industrial heritage, socially inclusive and compact inner city centres and creating new tourism destinations among others.
The students pursuing Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Economics and other relevant disciplines globally can participate in a team or as an individual for the competition.The submissions should be done in english and each team can forward one proposal.
The forms can be submitted along with other required documents through the email id : firstname.lastname@example.org and the teams will be provided a unique code similar to 00345(as and example for the team which received the registration number 345) .
