Kathmandu, June 18, 2018 : Applications are open for the the CareerPrep Fellowship Cohort 2 that will be held for all Bachelor and Masters Level female students. The program aims to enhance leadership, employability, and entrepreneurship skills in the participants.
CareerPrep Fellowship is an initiation of Women Development Advocacy Center that aims to facilitate young females in both their professional as well as life based skills. The goal of the Fellowship is to prepare graduating university young females for the workplace, specifically by enabling them to develop competency in terms of their professional and business skills.
It is a 16-week long fellowship program for female students, aimed at bridging the gap that exists between educational institutions and the industry today. The program focuses on developing soft skills, and certain hard skills that are required to succeed with the growing professional ecosystem .The fellowship will feature personal facilitated sessions and one-on-one mentor-ship from leaders of various different organizations in Nepal.
With this program, the organizers envision a workplace that is not only inclusive, but contains women in higher decision-making and leadership roles, as well as increasing number of leading female entrepreneurs.
The first installation of the Cohort is about to conclude and the second one will commence on 20th of July and ends on November 20, 2018.
