Command post would be established at the National Emergency Operation Center for information collection, coordination and direction under the leadership of a joint-secretary. Likewise, direction has been issued to the Chief District Officers of lower belt districts from where the swollen river flows to establish the command posts to provide information, make coordination and mobilize the personnel in case of disasters. The relatives of the deceased would be kept in the same commands and the district natural disaster rescue committees would make arrangements to keep them in the nearby hospitals if the relatives did not come in contact. As per the decision, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) would be written to make request to neigbhouring countries India and China for relief and rescue, considering the possible risks caused by Bhotekoshi/Sunkoshi blockade. Similarly, the meeting decided to write to the MoFA for diplomatic steps to open the doors of Koshi barrage. Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Bimalendra Nidhi, Minister for Urban Development Dr Narayan Khadka, Minister for Health and Population Khagaraj Adhikari, Chief Secretary Leelamani Poudyal, lawmaker of Sindhupalchowk constituency no 1 Mohan Bahadur Basnet and government officials were present t the meeting.
