Bangladesh, June 10, 2015: Arnob, the lead vocalist of the renowned Bangladeshi music band ‘Arnob and Friends’ visited Kolkata, India on the 5th of June to hold a fundraising music concert titled ‘Bhalo Theko Nepal’. The concert has been organized by banglanatak dot com along with Cactus and Calcutta Rowing Club; which was a huge success.
The title ‘Bhalo Theko Nepal’ translates to ‘Stay Well, Nepal’ is a way to wish well for Nepal. The music concert also featured Cactus and Tanmoy Bose of Taal Tontro. Special appearance of Debojyoti Mishra and Pt. Debashish Bhattacharya also added to the excitement of the audience.
They rocked the floor of Nazrul Mancha from 6pm to 10pm. Donations were requested, and entry was as per invitation. Consul General of Nepal at Kolkata, Mr. Chandra Kumar Ghimire and Ms. Moe Chiba, Head of Culture-UNESCO New Delhi were the guests of honor.
The entire fund collected was donated to the Consul General of Nepal at Kolkata for relief of the earthquake victims in Nepal.
