Bhimduttanagar, July 7, 2015: On monday in Bajhang district a yarsagumba picker was killed in avalanche.
According to Far-West Regional Police Office, Bir Singh Lothyal of Ghusa in Darchula district was buried in the avalanche at Saipal region of Kada VDC-7 in Bajhang district.Lothyal had gone there for collecting Yarsagumba–a unique caterpillar-fungus fusion.
