Banking Finance and Insurance Institute of Nepal Limited (BFIN) organized a webinar on “Digital payments during the lockdown and future prospects” on 2nd May 2020. Mr. Revati Prasad Nepal, Executive Director, Payment Systems Department, Nepal Rastra Bank and Mr. Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan, CEO, Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) was the speakers of the session. Dr. Binod Atreya, MD, BFIN moderated the session.
Mr. Nepal presented the key data related to Digital Payment system in Nepal and also highlighted the initiatives taken by Nepal Rastra Bank for promotion of digital payments. Similarly, Mr. Pradhan highlighted the key activities, security measures and future prospects of digital banking in Nepal. The session was conducted through Zoom Meeting and also live broadcasted from official facebook page of BFIN and NCHL.
