Bhaktapur, Jan 28: The Bhaktapur Municipality has built a park at Tinkune in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur, as part of its ‘One Town One Park’ campaign.
The park, spanning across 99 ropanis, is built in the open field at Tinkune locality at the cost of Rs 1.7 million, according to Rammani Bhattarai, the Executive Officer at Bhaktapur Municipality.
The Municipality is mulling the erection of the national luminary Araniko inside the park as proposed by the public in the locality, shared Officer Bhattarai.
Similarly, Bhattarai told RSS that the Municipality is to build a park at Siddha Pokhari in Bhaktapur following the demand from the District Forest Office, Bhaktapur to build a model park in any best location out of the six municipalities in the district.
