Kathmandu,25 Nov 2014: Prime Minister of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay, has arrived here at 11:40 this morning to participate in the 18th SAARC summit going to be held from Wednesday.

Chief Protocol Kali Prasad Pokhrel welcomed Bhutanese Prime Minister at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Deepak Chandra Amatya, Chief Secretary Leelamani Poudyal and Basanta Kumar Gautam, the Chief Personal Secretary of Prime Minister Sushil Koirala welcomed Prime Minister Tobgay and the VIP guests on the podium, constructed to welcome the dignitaries.

On the occasion, the Nepal Army played a Mangal Dhun (auspicious tune) in honour of the Bhutanese Prime Minister. After that, the national anthems of both countries were played. Prime Minister Tobgay has arrived here leading the Bhutanese delegation.
