Kathmandu, Sept 24: The big three parties are mulling to again call the Madhes-centric parties for dialogue.

The three-party meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar this morning reviewed the ongoing Terai protest and prepared the draft for calling the disgruntled parties for dialogue asking them to stop the agitation and general strike based protests they have been enforcing, said Nepali Congress Vice- President Ram Chandra Poudel.

Another meeting of the three parties – the Nepali Congress, the CPN (UML) and the UCPN (Maoist)– is scheduled for 2:30 pm for the same purpose, it is learnt.

Leader Poudel urged the disgruntled parties for dialogue and said concrete discussions would be held there in the meeting itself.

Similarly, following the meeting, CPN (UML) Vice-chair Bidya Devi Bhandari said that the meeting decided to urge the disgruntled parties for dialogue after they give up the agitation, violence and the untoward activities to normalize the life after the promulgation of a new constitution and even to implement the new constitution.

She further urged the disgruntled parties for dialogue as the door for the same was open forever. She added that vandalizing personal and public properties, vandalizing the houses of different political party leaders, lawmakers and obstructing the highway were totally condemnable.

“How could such activities help create the environment for dialogue,” she wondered.
