Kathmandu, Sept 6: The BP Memorial Trust has decided to give away ‘BP Koirala Smriti Senani Samman’ to Nutan Thapaliya for his dedication to BP’s ideals, norms and values and principle for the cause of democracy.
Likewise, 11 PhDs would be honoured for their researches on literary, political, economic and social life of BP Koirala—the first elected prime minister of Nepal.
Similarly, this year’s BP Koirala Smriti Sahitya Samman would be given to litterateur Ranta Shumsher Thapa.
The awards would be given away to the personalities on Sunday at a programme to be organized on birth centenary of BP.
