LET’S UNITE IN BREAKING THE RECORD
The most talked event of the town , breaking the record effort by making the largest human flag of Nepal is all set to happen . Human Values for Peace and Prosperity (HVPP ) , NGO , set in Nepal , has put forward this effort to unite hearts of Nepali youths and to promote the glory of the most unique flag of the world . People rarely believed in this event but making it happen is a dream that every participant has in their minds .
The event aims to break the Current Guinness World Record for the largest human flag, consisting of 28,957 participants, which was achieved by the Punjab Youth Festival in February 2014 in Lahore, Pakistan . HVPP is in the process of gathering more than 30,000 participants on August 23, 2014 on Saturday next week . Every participant will receive a colored card that will be displayed over their heads , forming the beautiful flag of Nepal , best seen from Ariel view . The event has received immense response from the youths , very renowned public figures in Nepal .
Mr. . Bhawesh Khanal , the initiator and the President of HVPP , has shared with us , few questions regarding the event . Mr . Khanal is a full time travelling teacher of Art of Living , who has conducted various workshops targeted mostly to help youths to inbuilt and develop life skills .
• What is the real intention of coming with this grand idea of “Breaking Records To Unite Hearts “ ?
As, Sri Sri Ravishankar believes in promoting world and people around as ONE WORLD FAMILY , this is a wake up call to bring people together for their country besides their differences .
We are actually ONE under the flag of Nepal .There is an immense need to aware people about the most mathematical and unique flag around the world . This event also promotes the concept of Mass Volunteering . This event has brought people and organizations together ultimately
• What Is the current number of people who have registered for the event ?
Almost 27,000 and still growing . We still have 9 more days to go until the event .
• Where and how can people register ?
We have counters in United world trade center , Tripureshwor , Civil mall to register . We charge Rs.100 from the participants as the gate pass .
• What guided you to initiate this grand event ?
My love for this country and people herein , Nepal
• How is the support from people ?
It is very positive . There have been many people and organizations that have come together to help us and have extended their will to work with us with this event .
