Lalitpur,14 Nov 2014: The third Buddhist Book Exhibition has begun here from today with an objective of promoting Buddhist religion.
Culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi inaugurated the expo jointly organised by the Yubak Bouddha Mandal and Golden Club.
On the occasion, Joshi said such expo would further help for the publicity of the Buddhist religion and also expressed the belief that it would help to get knowledge related to the Buddhist religion.
Programme Coordinator Hiraratna Shakya said the expo was organised as most of people in and out of the country are deprived of opportunity to study the Buddhist religion for lack of book related to the religion.
Some 4,000 books in different languages including Nepali, Hindi, English and Nepal Bhasa of more than 500 Nepali and foreign writers have been kept in the expo. The expo will run till November 16.
