Kathmandu,17 Jan 2015: The NEPSE index has increased by 13 points compared to the last week. The index increased by 13.47 points today compared to the first day of the last week. It reached at 939.53 on the last day of this week.
However, the NEPSE market saw low amount of transaction this week, according to Nepal Stock Exchange.
As many as 162 companies made a transaction of Rs 986 million.
The transaction amount is 31.39 per cent compared to the last week. The NEPSE market made a transaction of Rs 1.43 billion by purchasing and selling 4.51 million shares from 11,836 transactions of 170 companies, last week.
The highest increase of 81.13 points was witnessed in the Insurance groups’ index while 70.44 points in the production group.
Similarly, the commercial, development, financial and other sector saw improvements.
