Kathmandu, Dec 10, 2014: The Finance Ministry has said that Rs 114.88 billion revenue, some Rs 8 billion more than the target, was collected till the first four months of the current fiscal year.
The ministry had targeted to collect Rs 106.62 billion in revenue during the period.
The revenue collection is 21.8 percent more compared to the same period of the last year.
Of the total amount, Rs 103 is collected from tax revenue and remaining Rs 11.86 billion from non-tax revenue, ministry’s spokesperson Krishna Prasad Devkota said.
The government has targeted to collect Rs 422.9 billion revenue in the current fiscal year.
