Gokarna (Kathmandu),27 March 2015: Constituent Assembly (CA) Chair Subas Chandra Nembang has urged the political parties to sit for talks round-the-clock so as to transform disputes into a consensual document.
Taking part in an interaction programme on “Collection of news, problems in its dissemination and ways for their resolution”, CA Chair Nembang said the constitution drafting process has arrived at a significant mode and hence the contentious issues must be resolved as soon as possible.
“Healthy and cordial relations between the parliament and media helps to promote fact-based news”, he said, focusing on people’s rights to get fact-based information.
Parliament Secretary General Secretary Manohar Prasad Bhattarai underlined the need of regular communications between the secretariat and media persons.
Secretariat Secretary Thakur Prasad Baral and Spokesperson Mukunda Sharma argued that regular discussions between the secretariat and media persons helped to bring out fact-based news, increasing mutual trust and unity.
