Kathmandu, 20 September 2015: Â The promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal-2072 by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav later today was discussed at the meeting of the Council of Ministers. During the meeting held earlier in the day at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar, matters relating to the promulgation of the new constitution by the President were discussed, said Minister for Information and Communications Technology, Dr Minendra Rijal. President Dr Yadav is scheduled to announce the commencement of the Constitution of Nepal-2072, authenticated by the Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman at a special programme to be organised at CA building at 5:00 pm today.
On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Bamdev Gautam, shared that a rally would be organised with participation of the government and political parties on Monday and preparation in this regard was underway. Prime Minister Sushil Koirala gave further direction for the same, said Minister Rijal, also the Spokesperson of the government, after the meeting. Â The meeting also discussed how to move ahead keeping the rules and regulations in mind to carry out works regarding post-earthquake reconstruction work.
Minister Rijal said that the government would make necessary preparations to forward reconstruction and remaining task of rehabilitation actively. Discussion was also held regarding preparation of required political understanding, legal and constitutional measures for the same.
