Kathmandu, January 30, 2018: In order to let the current university students get involved in a movement to end educational inequality in remote and marginalized communities of the country, United World Schools (UWS), Nepal is organizing ‘UWS Nepal College Ambassador’. The deadline for the application submission is February 10, 2018.
The UWS Nepal Teaching Fellowship College Ambassador Program is an opportunity to develop one’s skill in communication, organization, event management, marketing and brand management. The program expects to facilitate the converse of notions and act as a promoter of change on a regional and national arena.
The College Ambassador Program is a volunteer position that intends to fortify resume while making a difference. This is a remarkable opportunity for outgoing, organized and enthusiastic university students. Through UWS Nepal College Ambassador Program, selected ambassadors will get a chance to work alongside Fellowship Department of UWS Nepal and conduct events in their colleges and university about UWS Nepal.
- Should be a Nepali citizen.
- Should be a current college/university student.
- Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong planning, organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
United World School is currently working in Nepal for building schools in the remote areas of Sankhuwasabha. They have been poring over remote Eastern Nepal since July 2015 and have built 15 schools till date. These schools will have at least three classrooms, a library, open learning space and recreational area. They intend to provide students with secure, high quality and positive schooling environment.
