Kathmandu, Â 20 December 2015: Speakers at a programme have urged the government to commence the reconstruction jobs in the quake-hit areas as the earthquake victims were forced to live inside the huts even in the chilling cold.
During the programme organised by the Nepal Protection Campaign, they asked the government to make necessary provision for food, shelter and clothing to the quake-affected people.
On the occasion, social worker Manab Sewak called the politicians to rise above the political and partisan interests in the current time. Sewak was of the view that all should be united to embark on the path of economic and social development with the implementation of the new constitution.
Coordinator of Campaign, Bishnu Prasad Sharma, said that all Nepalis should jointly face the crisis emerged after the earthquakes, strikes and blockade.
Likewise, the Campaign also honoured more than 20 senior citizens for their contributions to different sectors of the society.
