Kathmandu, June 22,2015: On Tuesday, in the presence of central leaders the CPN (UML) is to organize a special programme to welcome national and foreign tourists at various tourism destinations and trekking routes of the country.The event is being organized under its National Volunteers Campaign.
Chief of the CPN (UML) Central Tourism Department, Surya Thapa, at a cadres gathering organised at the party headquarters today, shared that different programmes would be organized including welcoming domestic and foreign tourists, cleanliness of tourism heritage sites and giving message Nepal is now safe for tourists.
The party also requested all tourism related organisations to make the programme a success.
A cultural programme would be orgnaised at Thamel after a rally from Basantapur while special programme would be held at different tourism sites including Kanchanjanga, Halesi, Janakpurdham, Sauraha, Pokhara, Lumbini, Khaptad, Rara, Jomsom and Thakurdwara.
Further he added that,Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the programme to be organised at Thamel while responsibility has been given to central leaders of the party at other tourism sites.
Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam and leader Madhav Kumar Nepal are scheduled to go to Kanchanjanga and Janakpur respectively.
With the slogan, “Our heritages our identity, We respect tourists.” campaign is going to be launched.the coordinator of the campaign isÂ Party Secretary Gokarna Bista.
