Dhangadhi,20 March, 2015 : An examinee in Dhangadhi, Kailali district has been appearing in the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations. And he is taking the SLC exam which is not for once, twice and thrice but for the 16th time!
Amusing as it may sound but Bhagiram Chaudhary, 45, from Gadariya VDC in Kailali is sitting for the exam from the exempted category at the centre at Phulbari Higher Secondary School for the 16th time.
According to Pratap Singh Dhami , Chief of Examination Department at the District Education Office in Kailali, examinee Chaudhary, has been appearing in the SLC exam consistently for 15 years.
More amusing is that Chaudhary is a student and also has been working in the capacity of an assistant at Janata Higher Secondary School at Gadariya VDC of the district.
Chaudhary is one among the total 20,481 students (both regular and exempted) appearing in the exam from 51 exam centres in the district.
The exam began on Thursday.
