Ratnanagar(Chitwan), May 26, 2015: Those school whose building has been damaged due to the earthquake has started teaching under the tents.
According to District Education Officer, Damodar Acharya, schools buildings which were collapsed by the recent earthquakes don’t have any option but to run the class under the tent.
He further added that 26 schools already have begun their class under the tent. Until the 29 districts deteriorate in the quake were raised again, the students will have the class under the tents.
Whereas three primary schools are yet to resume after they get the tarpaulin sheet.
The non-government organizations like Lions club, Paribartan Nepal and the District Education Office has provided the tarpaulin sheets.
The student of the school are being provided with the psychosocial counseling in order to divert their mind from the trauma of earthquake, said Principal at the National Secondary School of Majhbang, Dev Kumar Basnet,
More than 90 percent student are from Chepang locality in the school.
