CLOTHES DISTRIBUTED TO INTELECTUALLY DISABLED STUDENTS AT ILLAM

Ilam, Aug. 25: The Ilam Social Initiative Clothe Bank has distributed clothes to students with intellectual disability of Amar Higher Secondary School at Barbote in Ilam district on Sunday.

The organisation established two years ago provided 300 pieces of clothes to 20 students with intellectual disability.

Former Chairman of the National Federation of the Disabled Nepal, Birendra Raj Pokhrel, distributed pants, kurta salwar, jackets, stationery materials, fruits, slippers and shoes to the children, said Organisation Secretary, Bibhusan Rai.

Similarly, the organisation also distributed clothes to 15 local children having poor financial status Sunday itself.

Rai said that the organisation has already distributed 38,000 pieces of clothes at different VDCs of Ilam and Panchthar districts during two years period.
