Gorkhabazaar, March 2,2015: An office assistant died of cold in Gorkha district Sunday night.
The deceased is 42-year-old Tilak Bahadur Basnet, an office assistant at Raniswara Sub-Health Post at Gorkha Municipality-7.
Locals had informed the police after Basnet was found dead this morning.
The incident took place when Basnet, who came to the health post after consuming excessive alcohol, collapsed on the road while he was returning home at Gorkha Municipality-4 on Sunday evening.
Police Inspector Deepak Shrestha said the body has been brought to Gorkha District Hospital for a postmortem.
