June 17, 2015: A goal from Murillo in the 36th minute helped Columbia to win over Brazil in Copa America. It was the first win for Columbia against Brazil since 1991.

The game saw four yellow cards and two red cards. Barcelona forward Neymar was shown red card after he kicked a ball at Pablo Armero in frustration. Substitute Bacca for Columbia was shown red card in 76th minute. Columbia was defeated by Venezuela in their opening game. Brazil was clear favorite to win the game but they struggled to convert the chances into goals. The ball possession was 60-40 in the favor of Brazil but they could only manage 9 shots on target.

Aston Villa’s Carlos Sanchez shot just deflected wide of the post but just after Murillo got his first  international goal for Columbia. Ex Manchester united loan striker could not show his best of the game as he didn’t manage to create a single threatening attempt.

Columbia last played against Brazil in 2014 fifa world cup quarter final which ended in victory for Brazil.
